Columbus Area Keller Williams Agents Share at Mega Agent Retreat
September 12th, 2008 categories: About Realtors, Columbus, Real Estate Professionals

More than 50 Keller Williams Realtors gathered yesterday for the first ever city wide “Mega Agent” Retreat. The top 10% of producing agents from Columbus area Keller Williams franchises gathered to share ideas, learn about industry trends and gain insight from panels and breakout sessions.
Though sharing ideas and gathering for educational events is a mainstay of the Keller Williams Culture, this was a first in bringing the cream of the crop of local Realtors together to network and leverage each others experiences and unique strategies.
The event was planned and facilitated by Allison Cummins and Gloria Cannon, both from Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty in Worthington. Cummins role as Assistant Team Leader includes recruiting, training, developing educational programs and assisting agents with business growth and strategy.
Cannon works as a Productivity Coach assisting agents with business planning, accountability, systems development and mentoring. She stated that “bringing this group of agents together in a positive setting, not to commiserate about the down market, but to talk about what is working was the key to the success of this event”.
Perhaps the most exciting news on the Keller Williams front is that Gary Keller, co-founder of the company and author of several acclaimed real estate books, will be coming to Columbus on October 15th for an event framed by the concepts laid out in his newest book “Shift – How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times”. Gary is a highly sought after speaker and the force behind Keller Williams’ unparalleled growth and the company’s wealth of educational resources. The event will accommodate 1,200 and is nearly sold out.
It has been said that Keller Williams is really a training and consulting company disguised as a real estate company and this was the case yesterday. There really is power in tapping into the successes of those who have gone before and what better way to elevate our industry than learn from each other?

For me, I am so excited to see Gary Keller in Columbus I am seeing Double!
